FAQs

  • The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside on the lodge deck, and dinner will be inside the lodge.

  • Yes, the chairlift is the way up to the venue! It’s very safe and easy to ride, and staff will be there to assist with loading and unloading. The lift will operate throughout the evening so guests can come and go as needed.

If you have any concerns, here is a video the venue provided from another wedding showing guests unloading at the top to help put you at ease.

  • Late August in the mountains is typically warm and sunny. However, afternoon rain showers can occasionally pop up at Colorado’s high altitude. In the event of a storm, we will have ponchos or umbrellas available.

After the sun goes down, temperatures can also drop quite a bit, so we recommend bringing a light layer for the evening and your travels home!

  • Shuttle transportation will be available to and from the venue. Pickups will be offered from the Frisco Transfer Station and the AC Hotel.

Vans hold 14 guests, and will ideally be running every 20 minutes. The first shuttles will be ready to take guests up to the mountain at 2;30, and the last shuttle departing at 3:30.

  • Yes!

Frisco sits at 9,000 feet of elevation, and our wedding venue at 11,500 feet. All guests may notice the altitude. Be sure to hydrate often and throughout your trip, wear sunscreen, and pace yourself.

Peak Oxygen will also be providing an oxygen bar for the duration of the event to help guests adjust.

  • The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Layers are recommended as the ceremony will likely be warm and sunny, while the chairlift down in the evening will be chilly.

  • Tucker is our dog! He is an Australian cattle dog mix that Peg adopted in 2023!
